Glow Kids Programs Include safe and caring spaces for children from 6 weeks to grade 6 to experience the love of Jesus and to create a community to grow in their faith and make not just friends but disciples. Glow kids innovation and creativity in curriculum, worship and connection is focussed on teaching and reaching the next generation for Jesus.

Glow Kids Director

Emma Adams

Emma has been serving in Kids Ministry for nearly ten years and is deeply passionate about seeing children encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. She believes Kids Ministry is more than a Sunday program. It is a calling to steward the hearts of the next generation and guide them into a genuine relationship with God. Emma is committed to creating spaces where every child feels welcomed, experiences God’s love personally, and discovers their value.

Emma is passionate about bridging the gap between Sunday Kids Ministry and home, partnering with parents so children can carry what they learn about Jesus into their everyday lives. Her heart is to see Glow Kids become a light and a home for children across the Gold Coast and a place where families and communities can grow together.

Age Groups

Parents Room

6 weeks to 6 months

Parents room is a lounge area with a streamed service for parents, with a private cosy bassinet and breastfeeding space if needed. The room is fully equipped for your baby, with a nappy change area, highchairs, rockers, toys, fridge, microwave and sink. The room is hosted by the Glow kids team who can support you and your baby during the service.

Sunrise Room

6 months to 18 months

Sunrise is a play, sleep, feeding area for your growing baby, the Glow kids team in the room are led by qualified Early childhood educators. During your child's time in this room your child will experience our very own Glow Kids Sunrise Room devotions Titled - I am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, totally dedicated to your child learning, through singing, stories, games and play, who they are and who made them.

Sunrays Room

18 months to 3 years

Sunrays is a play space intentionally designed for your toddler to learn all about Jesus, how He loves them and wants to be their friend. Through our Glow kids Sunrays devotions Titled - How much Jesus loves me, filled with songs, scripture and bible stories. Your child's learning will be strengthened by fun and playful experiences.

Glow Worms

3 years to 5 years

Glowworms is creatively and developmentally designed to use imaginative play spaces to underpin the way your child learns the Glowworms devotions Titled - VBFF ( Very Best Friend Forever ). Using media, music, movement, arts, crafts, games and SO MUCH FUN, your child will be engaged with their friends and know who their VBFF is JESUS. Glowworms have access to the double storey playpark from their room to actively engage with their new friends.

Fireflies

Prep to Grade 1

Fireflies is filled with games, crafts and activities that explore the message and scripture of the day. Multimedia and Live presentations are used to teach and reach this age, Live praise and worship, ministry and time to go deeper in connect groups. An outdoor space as well as the playpark is available to play and build friendships. Currently the Orange curriculum is used for this age group.

Lighthouse

Grade 2 to Grade 6

Lighthouse is filled with games, fun challenges and activities that explore the message and scripture of the day. Multimedia and Live presentations are used to teach and reach this age. Live praise and worship, ministry and time to go deeper in connect groups. An outdoor play space that includes a basketball and handball court is available to build friendships. Currently the Orange curriculum is used for this age group.

LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS

Kids Leadership Program

Upper Primary Students

The Kids Leadership Program involves our upper primary students within the Lighthouse Room taking on a leadership role within the Kids Ministry. As our students get older. Our heart is to activate them and give them some greater responsibility to take ownership over as a leader unlocking their God given gifts.
They will become a part of our services by giving them opportunities to lead worship, preach, facilitate games and run connect groups. They will be partnered with mature Kids leaders and with our YLP students to intentionally discipleship and push them to activate and use their gifts and talents within the room. Whilst also serving as a role model to look up to as they continue to develop in life.

Student Leaders Program

Year 12 Youth Students

The Student Leadership Program will take our Year 12 Students who are a part of Glow Youth and are enrolled in the Youth Leadership Program (YLP) and partnering them alongside our upper primary students enrolled in the Kids Student Leadership Program (SLP). The heart behind these programs is to intentionally build great disciples within Glow who are activated and catch the heart of the house at a young age.

The partnership between the two programs will help each other in forming lasting relationships and creating better unity within the Church Ministries. We strongly believe that through this program will also see a greater retention of students as they transition through the ministries. As the students leave Kids Church and join Glow Youth will have friendly faces awaiting them to connect them as they enter highschool.
